HR Central - Human Resources Consultancy
was created in March 2006, in order to utilise the extensive experience gained by our Consultants, whilst employed within various organisations as generalist HR professionals. Our extensive network of Employment Lawyers and CIPD qualified HR Professionals provide pragmatic Human Resource solutions for all sizes of Organisations along the M4 corridor.
As well as retained clients, has successfully completed recent assignments including:
• A value for Money Study of a Leading Higher Education Establishment’s recruitment process, advising on strategy, legal compliance issues and identifying potential changes to the overall process in order to make substantial savings, both in monetary terms and in time utilised.
• Grievance hearings, investigations and presenting findings to HR Directors and Company Owner/Managers. Hearing particularly difficult and involved cases where a level of impartiality was essential.
• Staff survey for leading law firm, including recommendations on how to enhance performance management.
• On a retained basis over the course of a couple of years, consulted and advised the HR department of a Market Research company in Central London on subjects such as the design and implement an appraisal process having successfully introduced a competency framework and job descriptions.
• Designed and delivered a behavioural Interviewing training course for a group of Board Directors and Managers at a Garden Centre.
• Developed a staff handbook with an associated suite of policies for a Spanish fashion house with retail outlets in London.
• Implementing induction policies, handbook development, updating contracts and introduced performance management systems and succession plans for small local business that has been on retained basis since the formation of HRCENTRAL.
